Below are some frequently asked questions.

What’s the difference between a Traditional Marquee and a Clearspan?
These two types of marquee are entirely different in ‘feel’. The traditional Marquee is pegged down with ropes, has poles inside, and is made of canvas. It creates a rustic, country-style or village fete atmosphere. A Clearspan, by contrast, has a contemporary feel with its clean white PVC walls and optional windows. A Clearspan Marquee can be fully lined and can be erected on a solid surface.

What flooring do I need?

At the site visit, we will discuss with you your specific requirements and check the ground that the marquee will be sited on.

Do I need a generator?

In some cases you may need a generator, depending on your electrical supply. We can provide you with a generator.

Can I have a marquee in winter?

Yes, we do provide marquees over the winter period, our Clearspan Marquees are the most suitable during the winter, especially when coupled with a thermostatically controlled heater – which we can provide for you. Although, please note, consideration will be needed in sub- zero conditions as to whether a marquee can be erected and/or dismantled. Traditional Marquees are not suitable for the winter months.

Can I have a marquee erected on tarmac?

Yes, we have a weighting system which will hold down a Clearspan Marquee without the need for pegs.

When will you erect and dismantle the marquee?

We tend to erect marquees on Wednesdays or Thursdays and dismantle on Mondays and Tuesdays, however, if you require specific days, we will always try and accommodate your needs.

Can I hire furniture alone?
Yes, furniture can either be collected from our yard by prior appointment and booking or we can deliver. There is a delivery charge.

What about Insurance?

The marquee is the hirer’s responsibility whilst on site. We can either arrange insurance at 5% of the final account or you can arrange your own.
